Oral Roberts University’s Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Community Development empowers you to serve in practical global missions. This interdisciplinary degree will address the spiritual, educational, economical, medical and physical needs of humanity.
You will learn specialized knowledge such as needs assessment, problem solving, training and leadership. Once you graduate, you’ll be well equipped for service in “every person’s world” as you prepare for endeavors domestically and abroad.

What makes ORU’s International Community Development program stand out?

You will have intern opportunities at places such as Tulsa Global Alliance, United Nations Association of Eastern Oklahoma, International Relief and Development, Compassion International,
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Americorps.gov, Dominion Farms (Kenya, Nigeria, Texas), International Christian Concerns, Sustainable Tulsa and Tulsa Council on Foreign Relations.
This degree can also be completed in three years by following the degree-in-three plan sheet.

As a university, we meet the accreditation standards set by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
