Oral Roberts University’s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Medical Molecular Biology is a residential program that will equip for admission to medical, dental and most other health profession schools. You can graduate with skills in Biology, Medical Molecular Biology, Biomedical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology or Health and Exercise Science as a pre-professional route.
More than this, our unique mission to develop Holy Spirit-empowered leaders through Whole Person Education, can truly set you apart to impact the medical field. ORU offers the opportunity to adapt any major to a pre-medical program with the inclusion of:
- Biology lecture/lab (2 semesters)
- Chemistry lecture/lab (2 semesters)
- Organic Chemistry lecture/lab (2 semesters)
- Physics lecture/lab (2 semesters)
- Mathematical Analysis or Calculus
These classes allow highly qualified students the opportunity to be admitted to medical school after three years of undergraduate training. All pre-professional health services majors are encouraged to closely with their degree advisor.
Our commitment to equip Spirit-empowered leaders is why over 300 of our alumni are practicing physicians throughout the United States. Our students have been accepted into 70 medical schools including Duke University, Johns Hopkins University and Washington University.
